The Drive-By is made out of strong, rigid solid aluminium rods. The rods and fittings are machined and have been tested over and over again by our engineering department. So when we say that our mounts will support a 2.5 kg camera, you can count on this dolly to deliver a strong, tried and true mount that is perfect for your DV, HD, and light weight 35mm cameras.
All of our camera mounts are based on an extraordinary modular system. This modular system allows you to transform it into a wide variety of mounts. Low-mode Dolly is so versatile that you can easily design your own mount to get your camera exactly where you want it. We also offer many exciting accessories that will allow you to expand your kit as your needs grow.
An example of the use of a dolly is in the lobby shootout scene in The Matrix where Neo is cart wheeling past concrete pillars which explode everywhere.
The camera moves from left to right but remains at the exact same height and is perfectly smooth. This kind of shot could not be achieved without a dolly, or dolly-styled system.

Easily interchangable, the camera is mounted to a low mode dolly with a quick release plate, which rests on the central rod above four sets of wheels.
Fitted with precision wheel hubs and perfect geometry, it can handle demanding tracking moves where tracks are not feasible. The Drive-By is constructed using corrosion proof materials and finished in powder coating thus making the Drive-By a low maintenance, extremely durable and versatile piece of equipment.

To make it a camera mount, replace the wheels with the suction cups and mount it anywhere you want. This helps to keep the camera dead steady, and safe.
